Events & Classes
A View Made Together: A Painting Class for Two
Saturday, Feb. 14th 2pm - 4pm | Try something new together this Valentine's Day and walk away with a collaboratively created masterpiece!
Paint side by side with a partner in this relaxing, collaborative workshop designed for all experience levels. Each pair will receive two canvases and be gently guided through the process of creating a serene landscape featuring a quiet lake and peaceful woodland. When finished, your paintings can be displayed together as one connected scene or enjoyed on their own. Step-by-step instruction makes the experience approachable, while plenty of opportunities will be provided for personal touches and creative expression along the way.
This workshop is guided by local master art educator and artist, Dannielle Arneson.
$100 per partnership (or $50 per person) (plus credit card processing fee)

Art Class: Winter Needle Felting
Join us in creating a beautiful winter landscape using wool fiber as the unique medium to “paint” your outdoor scene. Learn the art of needle felting through step-by-step instructions to shape, layer, and detail a small and intricate design. Participants will have the opportunity to follow a guided plan or drift off into their own creative composition. This workshop is perfect for all skill and experience levels but does require the use of small, sharp, felting needles - best for ages 10+

Call for Art
A NEW CALL FOR ART IS OPEN!
Submissions due by December 28th at midnight. Maximum of four submissions per artist only please. To submit your pieces, click hereto be brought to the digital submission page. All images must be direct facing, cropped, and should not present with matting or the framing surrounding the piece. Images should be in sharp focus, uploaded in the correct orientation (portrait, landscape), and all files must be in .jpg format, 3000dpi, with the file size less than 4MB. Please name your images as follows: artist name_title_medium

Once you've clicked the link here you will want to navigate to the three dashes in the upper right corner (if using mobile) or to 'Open Calls for Entry' if on a computer
Search for 'Impressions' and select
Click 'Register' to fill out the application (you might need to create an account first)
Please Note: There is a Submission Fee to have work featured in the gallery. If you are an artist and want to submit your work to be considered for installation in Impressions Fine Art Gallery, click here to complete your official submission.
